Boiled Wool Icon Boiled Wool

Our traditional wool jackets are crafted with original Schladminger Loden. During milling, the wet cloth is heavily worked until it becomes felted, making it strong, warm, and water-resistant. To this day, Schladminger Loden, a coarse and robust cloth made from Styrian sheep wool, is produced on the original hammer-milling machine first used in 1888. After milling, additional steps such as raising, spreading, shearing, pressing, and decatising ensure the final proven quality.
