Alpaca Wool

Alpaca wool comes with good insulation and thermal qualities. Alpaca lamas live in an altitude up to 5.000 meters. With their wool they are well prepared against cold, wind, rain and heat. Therefore alpaca wool is suitable for producing summer and especially winter clothes. Alpaca wool is as comfortable as cashmere. It feels very soft and smooth on the skin. With same fineness alpaca wool feels even softer than merino wool. Compared to other wool qualities alpaca wool shows no „pilling effect“. Alpaca wool is called the „fleece of the gods“ and is probably one of the highest quality natural products.
